Good quality, delivery a bit slow

I ordered a pair of Soragna trousers during their summer sale. The fabric and construction were definitely high quality, felt very Italian-made as advertised. They fit well after a slight adjustment. Shipping took about 9 days, which was a little longer than I hoped, but they did arrive safely. Overall, a solid purchase.

Satisfied with my knitwear purchase

I purchased a merino turtleneck from Pini Parma a few weeks ago. The ordering process on their website was straightforward and I received an order confirmation almost immediately. It shipped out about two days later, and arrived five days after that to the US, which was pretty quick for international. The packaging was simple but secure. The turtleneck itself is very soft and the fit is just right, true to their size guide. I appreciated that they listed the fabric composition clearly. The color was accurate to what was shown online. I haven't had to deal with customer service, so can't comment there, but the overall experience from browsing to wearing was smooth and I'm happy with the quality for the price.

Great value on sale

I was looking for a new double-breasted blazer and found one during the Archive Sale. Got it for about 30% off, which made a huge difference. The quality feels really good for what I paid. I was a bit worried about the price point initially, but with the discount, it felt like a smart investment. Definitely worth checking their sales if you're on a budget.

Hey, does Pini Parma do Black Friday sales? Trying to decide if I should wait or just buy this jacket now.

B Ben Marsh 2 months ago
Yeah, they usually do. I remember getting a pretty good deal on a coat last Black Friday. It's usually more like an 'archive sale' kinda thing though, not always everything discounted.

They'll probably have something for Black Friday, but often their best deals are in those seasonal archive sales, like around summer or winter. If it's a new arrival, it might not even be part of the Black Friday sale anyway, just the older stuff.

Thinking about getting a few things from Pini Parma, but also looking at Suitsupply. How does Pini Parma compare in terms of quality and overall value?

J June Doyle 2 months ago
Pini Parma definitely feels a step up in fabric and construction, especially that soft shoulder. Suitsupply is great for the price, but Pini Parma feels more 'luxury' and a bit less structured, if that makes sense. You're paying for that Italian made thing.

Pini Parma is a different vibe. More traditional Italian, softer, less flashy than some of Suitsupply's stuff. Quality wise, Pini Parma fabrics often feel nicer, like their wools and linens. If you like that softer, more natural drape, PP is probably better. Suitsupply is more 'bang for your buck' but PP is higher quality goods.

Are their suits full canvas or half canvas? Can't find it clearly stated on the product pages.

R Rachel 2 months ago
From what I've heard and felt, pretty sure they're half canvas. It's really good quality half canvas though, feels much better than some others out there.

I think for that price point, they're generally half-canvas. Full canvas is usually a much bigger jump in cost. But their half canvas is really well done, very soft drape. They definitely lean into that soft shoulder thing.

Thinking of grabbing some trousers from them, specifically the Soragna. Are they true to size or should I go up/down one?

I Ivy H. 2 months ago
I'd say they're pretty true to size, maybe a touch slim in the leg but the waist is spot on for me. Check their size chart though, it's usually pretty accurate.

Nah, I found them a little snug. I usually wear a 32, but their 32 was a bit tight. Ended up exchanging for a 33 and it was perfect. Returns were super easy though, so not a huge deal if you get it wrong.

How long does shipping typically take to, say, New York City? Need a suit for an event kinda soon.

M Megan 2 months ago
From my experience, usually about a week to 10 days to the East Coast. Sometimes a bit faster, sometimes a bit slower depending on customs, but that's a good estimate.

Ordered a few times to California and it's been pretty consistent, like 7-12 days. NYC might be a bit quicker given it's closer to Europe. They usually use a pretty good express shipper.
